  • Multiple Brokers: You can log into multiple brokers simultaneously and run different Automation Agents for each, up to license limit.

  • Customization: Adjust strategy parameters (e.g., number of contracts, profit targets, stop-loss, trailing stops) to optimize performance for your trading style.

  • Support: For any questions or issues, refer to the ClearEdge Automation FAQ section or contact support directly.

  • Unsupervised Usage: Unsupervised usage is not advised per ClearEdge Automations “Terms of Service”. Make sure you are supervising all automation activity and using appropriate risk management.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Download Issues: Ensure a stable internet connection and sufficient storage space.

  • Security Warnings: Verify that you’ve selected Keep or Run Anyway for Windows or authorized the app in macOS Privacy & Security settings.

  • Login Errors: Confirm you’re using the correct account credentials for both your ClearEdge Automation subscription and broker accounts.

  • Mac Compatibility: Ensure you’ve downloaded the correct version for your Mac’s chip (Apple or Intel).

  • Alert Issues: If TradingView alerts are not triggering trades, verify the Automation Agents is active, the alert is turned on, and the webhook URL and message are correct.

  • Bracket Orders: Bracket orders can create a negative feedback loop on your strategy. Avoid using them. Instead set your risk parameters to liquidate positions that exceed your risk profile.

Next Steps

With ClearEdge Automation installed, broker accounts connected, and TradingView alerts set up, you’re ready to run automated trading strategies. Monitor your Automation Agents daily, adjust settings as needed, and use paper trading accounts to test new strategies. For further guidance, refer to additional ClearEdge Automation tutorials or contact support.
