A ClearEdge VPS (Virtual Private Server) lets you run your trading automation 24/7 in the cloud, so it keeps running even if your home computer is off or loses internet. This guide walks you through purchasing one.
Before you start
You'll need to be logged in to your account at my.clearedge.trading. A VPS can be added on its own or alongside a software license.
Step 1: Open the subscription page
From the left-hand menu, click VPS Instances. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "+ Add a Subscription" button. This opens the "Choose Your Plan" page.
Step 2: Choose a software license (optional)
On the left side, under "Software License," pick the plan you need: Starter, Advanced, Elite, Ultimate, or Unlimited. Each plan lists how many agents and strategies it includes. If you only want a server and already have a license, select "I already have a license" instead.
Step 3: Choose your VPS
On the right side, under "VPS - Cloud Server," use the Windows / Linux toggle at the top to pick your operating system. Then select a size that fits your needs. Each option shows its vCPU, clock speed, RAM, and that it includes a Static IP. Sizes range from Small up to 4XL, and some are tagged "Recommended" or "High Frequency" to help you choose. If you'd rather run locally for now, pick "No VPS: Run Software Locally."
Step 4: Review your total
As you make selections, the order summary near the bottom updates automatically, showing your software line, your VPS line, and the combined monthly total.
Step 5: Subscribe
When you're happy with your choices, click the "Subscribe" button to continue to secure checkout and enter your payment details. Once payment is confirmed, your new VPS is provisioned and will appear on the VPS Instances page.
